Zulay Shenao is a Colombian born. She is an American-born Colombian actor. Her most famous role has been as Esperanza in the Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If loving you is wrong'. Zulay Henao has appeared in a number of films, such as Illegal tender, Takers and"Boy Wonder" and "True Memoirs of an International Assassin ?. In 2004, she and her family moved to the USA to escape Medellin Antioquia which is located in Colombia. She attended Methodist College at Fort Bragg in North Carolina while serving three years with the U.S. Army. She pursued acting at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, and worked at odd jobs prior to beginning her acting career.
