Srushti Dehmukh was preparing to sit for UPSC when she was in her third semester of her engineering degree. As she was finishing her last year of engineering, Srushti Deshmukh questioned if she would enjoy working in engineering. In the following years, she realized that her passion was in civil service and decided to pursue the field. Her parents encouraged her to prepare for civil services and pursue an impact in the community. Her motivation never waned, and remained focused solely on her goal to become an IAS. To be able to pass UPSC to be achieved it is more work necessary. She was preparing for UPSC subjects while she studied her engineering. She set aside time for test preparation daily. She prepared for the exams for engineers in less than 1 1/2 months, and stayed away from social media and social media platforms altogether. She believes that being focused only on the work at hand is key to passing this test. She wanted to pass through the exam in one go, and she did a lot of hours. Her daily routine included reading newspapers in order to be current with the latest news. Additionally, she got lots of help online collecting different studies materials, and also viewing Rajya Sabha TV.
